Iranian winger Mehdi Mahdavikia (Hamburger SV) will miss the match against Costa Rica because of a minor injury. He got injured after the match against VFB Stuttgart but he wasn’t fully recovered yet so is resting now.
Iranian defender Rahman Rezaei (Messina) is still doubtful. Appearantly there were some paper problems between IFF (Iranian Football Federation) and Messina and his club didn’t allowed him to travel to Tehran. There is no news about that he arrived in Tehran so far so its highly unlikely that he will play tomorrow.
