Persianfootball.com Editor Mansoor Ansari was present at Team Melli’s Training session on Today. He had the following to tell us:
19 of the 25 players who were invited to the camp were present at today’s session. The 6 absentees included: Alireza Vahedi-Nikbakht, who has picked up and injury and is awaiting an MRI result to find out more. Moharram Navidkia, who underwent another surgery in Germany and is currently recovering in Iran. Javad Nekounam who has yet to be released by his Club and the Saba Battery Trio, The skipper Ali Daei, Yahya Golmohammadi and Sohrab Bakhtiarizadeh who had a match to play for their club.
Branko Ivankovic’s main focus today was on the team’s tactical issues. The session lasted 90 minutes and will continue tomorrow.
