Iran’s new football manager Amir Qal’e-Noii here Sunday said his team will play a warm-up against either the United Arab Emirates (UAE) or Jordan and a friendly against domestic side ahead of the Asian Nations Cup.

The trainer added, “Before the preliminary matches against Syria and South Korea, the team is scheduled to take on a domestic team on Aug. 4 and the UAE or Jordan on Aug. 10.”

Qal’e-Noii was Sunday officially introduced by the federation caretaker head Kiumars Hashemi as the new head coach.
