About his delayed arrival and his anticipation to play with his new team mates:

Nekounam : I had some visas problems, I was very concerned about it, because I wanted to train as soon as possible with my new team mates and also because the coach was waiting for me.

What did you after the World Cup ?

Nekounam : After the World Cup, I had two weeks of rest, then I returned in Iran where I trained everyday. I believe that I am in top form and I am ready for anything that will be requested by the trainer.

Are you worried about the fact to come to a new country with different customs ?

Nekounam : The answer is no. I know the customs are different, but I will try to adapt quickly and my main objective is to play soon and help my team.

What do you think about the latest transfers at CA Osasuna ?

Nekounam : I know the club has aquired some good players. Tomorrow, I will know more about them.

Tomorrow is the Champions League drawing, do you have any preferences for your rivals ?

Nekounam : No, not really, the important thing is to win. We’ll see what will happen.

The Iranian star met with his new trainer Ziganda after taking care of the journalists and both decided that he will travel to France tomorrow and play against Rennes tomorrow.
