Persepolis will play host to the English Premier team Arsenal in Tehran’s 100,000-seater Azadi Stadium in late November.
Theo de Jong, Persepolis manager Arie Haan’s assistant, met Arsenal head coach Arsene Wenger, getting his agreement for a friendly in Tehran.
Persepolis is to send an official invitation to the Arsenal Club.
The popular side is training here to prepare for the sixth Iran Pro League.
