FC Bayern and Ali Karimi suffered a 4-0 defeat in the hands of Champions League title holders FC Barcelona in a friendly match in Nou Camp on Tuesday evening.
A beautiful freekick by Ronaldinho and two goals by Samuel Eto’o already decided the match in first half, before Barca’s B-team added a fourth through Argentinian international Javier Saviola after 52 minutes.
Iranian international Karimi, who had a quiet game, started for Bayern and was replaced by Bastian Schweinsteiger in minute 70.
It was the first match for Karimi after suffering a thigh injury two weeks ago.
